The comedic actress was simply terrific as the high-strong and overbearing mother of George Costanza.
Here are a few of my favorite moments from Mrs. Costanza.

Estelle Harris Beyond ‘Seinfeld’
Besides the 29 episodes of “Seinfeld” she starred in, Harris was a sought-after character actress in Hollywood.
She voiced Mrs. Potato Head in the Toy Story franchise, teaming up with comedy legend Don Rickles.
“Reunited Potato Heads”
Last night, I read that actress and comedienne Estelle Harris passed away. Because I know her mostly for her role as Mrs. Potato Head in the Toy Story films, that gave me an opportunity to honor her and the late Don Rickles, Mr. Potato Head’s voice. pic.twitter.com/AFZtngDEFS

Rest in peace to the great #EstelleHarris as she passed away at the age of 93 last night. As many remember her for playing George’s mother on Seinfeld, she also did numerous voice roles in her career such as Mrs. Potato Head, Lula, Audrey, and Sylvester’s Mom. pic.twitter.com/XOCB97PDqr

What made Seinfeld an endearing show was that it had such a solid supporting cast. Estelle Harris was part of a strong cast of character actors who made every episode of the hit show feel special.
Her signature screech is one of a kind. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard someone yell similarly. I always turn to a companion and say, “Is that George’s mom?”
