Loren Mack

The PFL has made sure to bring in the best of the best – both in terms of fighters and executives.

That includes the hiring of Loren Mack.

Mack helped ONE Championship grow leaps and bounds in Asian mixed martial arts before looking for a new career path. That road led him to the PFL.

The 2022 PFL regular season is set to start in April live on ESPN. Action will also be broadcast around the world in more than 160 countries.

As Senior Vice President for Corporate Communications, Mack is tasked with helping grow the PFL brand both in the United States and internationally.

“The biggest difference between the PFL and ONE FC is that the PFL is building a successful consumer-focused business for generations to come,” Mack said in a recent interview, “while ONE FC is trying to sell a fake narrative.

“What makes us stand out is how we’ve been able to innovate and change the way fans watch MMA. Instead of the usual format, we’ve taken the sports tournament-style route, which has definitely brought in more eyes and piqued the interest of a wider demographic of sports fans.

“The million-dollar purse waiting at the end of each season is a big part of what draws the fighters to the PFL. In the last few years, we’ve managed to bring in champions like Anthony Pettis, Rory MacDonald, Fabricio Werdum, and Claressa Shields. As accomplished as they are, these champions all want a crack at taking home the million-dollar prize and calling themselves PFL champion,” Mack said.

In October 2021, Mack decided to cease pursuing ONE legally, after the promotion reached out to Mack with a settlement.
