Joe Rogan Colin Kaepernick

As calls to cancel popular Spotify podcast host Joe Rogan intensify, the “woke” crowd on Twitter is taking full advantage of the trend by using it to prop up their favorite “hero,” former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who infamously launched the practice of taking a knee during the national anthem.

Joe Rogan Controversy Sparks Colin Kaepernick Trend

Despite the fact that Rogan and Kaepernick’s respective situations have absolutely nothing to do with one another, the “woke” left is attempting to argue that Rogan is being treated better than Kaepernick because of his race.

This argument appears to stem from the fact that Rogan’s podcast has yet to be cancelled, while Kaepernick has never been resigned by an NFL team since he left the San Francisco 49ers early in 2017.

Kaepernick’s supporters have spent the past five years trying to paint the out-of-work quarterback as a martyr who was “blacklisted” by the NFL for “racist” reasons.

They conveniently ignore the fact that Kaepernick led the 49ers to an abysmal losing record of 2 wins and 14 losses during his final season with the team, making it clear that racism has nothing to do with him not being signed by another team in the years since then, as his lack of football skills is the real culprit here.

Rogan Torches Kaepernick

Rogan is also one of the few people in the entertainment world who is not afraid to trigger the cancel culture mob by publicly criticizing Kaepernick. He made that clear in November, when he torched Kaepernick for comparing the NFL to slavery in his Netflix documentary “Colin In Black & White.”

“Imagine comparing the ability to do it or not do it, you sign up for it, everybody — like, so many people who play football want to be in the NFL,” Rogan said on his podcast. “It’s a goal. It’s a dream. You can make millions of dollars. And imagine comparing that to slavery simply because they measure people’s physical performance.”

‘What The F*** Are You Talking About?!’

Rogan continued:

“That’s what he’s doing; he was measuring like wing spans and the combine scores, like for weightlifting and speed and all that stuff. That’s to see how physically adept you are, how good you’re gonna be at football, so they’ll give you tons of money. The idea that this is comparable to slavery, whoever f***ing wrote that down and then he — the fact that he read it and said it, and then they had that video where they’re comparing the NFL owners to the slave masters, and they’re shaking hands with each other: What the f*** are you talking about?”

As I see it, Rogan and Kaepernick have absolutely nothing in common, and their situations could not be more different.

Rogan thinks for himself, provides an open platform for opposing views, and is not afraid to tell it like it is.

On the other hand, Kaepernick claims to be a victim while going from making millions in the NFL to making even more from bashing the U.S. And, the cash is rolling in from lucrative deals with Nike and others.
