Claressa Shields

Claressa Shields made a triumphant return to the United Kingdom this weekend.

Shields, who claimed Olympic gold in London, retained her WBC, WBA and IBF middleweight titles with a decision win. She topped Ema Kozin from Cardiff, Wales with rival Savannah Marshall ringside.

The win sets a strong course for Shields and Marshall, who holds the WBO title, to square off later this year.

Shields also competes in mixed martial arts for the Professional Fighters League. In 2021, she made two appearances inside the cage for the PFL, going 1-1.

In the main event of the card, Chris Eubank, Jr. improved to 32-2 with a decision victory over Liam Williams.
