Prince Andrew teddy bears

A former maid of the controversial Prince Andrew is speaking out this week to reveal what working for him was really like. She’s making it clear that she has no regrets about her decision to go public with her claims.

‘He Is A Horrible, Nasty Man’

“I don’t give a toss what Prince Andrew feels… he is a horrible, nasty man,” Charlotte Briggs, 47, told Daily Mail. “It has been more than 26 years and I did sign (a privacy agreement) under the official secrets act. But my husband and I saw the TV program during the week when his teddy bears were mentioned and he said it was a good time for me to speak about what happened to me too.”

Briggs was referring to Andrew’s collection of 72 teddy bears, which come from all over the world. She claimed earlier this week that she had to undergo a day-long training on how to arrange his teddy bears just right.

“As soon as I got the job, I was told about the teddies and it was drilled into me how he wanted them,” Briggs told The Sun. “I even had a day’s training. Everything had to be just right. It was so peculiar.”

She also said, “We’d turn down his bed, remove his teddies, do the curtains and lay out his pyjamas. But he was a bad apple and behaved like a spoiled brat.”

Daily Teddy Bear Routine

Briggs claimed that every day, she would need to arrange the teddy bears so that the largest were in the back, and the smallest were in the front.

At night, she and another maid would need to use an intricate diagram to put the teddy bears in their allotted positions around the room, with Andrew’s two favorite bears being placed in mahogany thrones at his bedside.

“It was so odd,” she said. “After all, he was a grown man who had served in the Falklands. But he absolutely loved the teddies and was very clear about how he wanted them arranged.”

Andrew admitted to having the teddy bear collection back in 2010.

“I’ve always collected teddy bears,” he said at the time, according to People Magazine. “Everywhere I went in the Navy I used to buy a little teddy bear, so I’ve got a collection from all over the world of one sort or another.”

Andrew Loses It Over Curtains

Briggs also alleges that Andrew once came unglued and lashed out at her after finding a gap in his curtains.

She claims that he screamed “Can’t you f***ing do anything right?” at her as she frantically ran up and down the stairs trying to rearrange the curtains. The incident caused Briggs to be “left in tears.”

“This man fought for his country in the Falklands but couldn’t stand up to close his own curtains,” she said. “It was utterly ridiculous but spoke volumes about him.”

In contrast to Andrew, Briggs says that other royals like Prince Charles and Prince Edward were “wonderful” when she was around them.

“I just don’t care about Prince Andrew after his bad behavior towards me,” she bluntly concluded.

Recently, Queen Elizabeth stripped him of his military titles and royal patronages after a judge refused to toss out the sexual assault that has been waged against him by Jeffrey Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre. She claims that she was forced to have sex with Andrew three times as an underage girl, and he has denied all of her allegations.

Andrew’s trial will likely take place sometime later this year. Perhaps he can find comfort in his teddy bear collection during this difficult time.
