Former UFC title challenger Cat Zingano made some interesting remarks on social media.
Zingano, who is currently on the Bellator roster, said she is “hearing” something about reigning champion Cris Cyborg.
“Hearing (Cyborg) is refusing to drug test,” Zingano posted on Twitter.
Zingano, meanwhile, continued by proclaiming she will return to action in March. And that will provide “plenty of time” for Cyborg to “get their shit together.”
“I have been told my opponent and that it’s a number one contender match set for March 11,” she wrote. “That’ll give someone plenty of time to get their shit together enough to fight me by summer.”
Zingano has reeled off two straight wins since signing with Bellator. She submitted Olivia Parker in April and topped Gabby Holloway in 2020.
Prior to that, Zingano fought in the UFC for several years. She finished her career just 1-4, but did best Amanda Nunes back in 2014.
