UFC Fight Pass Showcases Grappling To Close Out 2021

Three grappling events will be featured on UFC Fight Pass to close out December.

On Thursday, the first-ever UFC Fight Pass Invitational will be held. Sunday features Eddie Bravo’s Combat Jiu-Jitsu 16 while Sunday, December 30 will be Fury Pro Grappling 3.

Donald Cerrone will headline the 16-man featherweight championship at the Bravo event. Rose Namajunas is set for the Fury 3 card. 

UFC FIGHT PASS Invitational

Thursday, December 16 at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT

The inaugural UFC FIGHT PASS Invitational will stream live from UFC APEX in Las Vegas, marking the first time a combat sports event has been held in the facility beyond a UFC or Dana White’s Contender Series event.

The UFC FIGHT PASS Invitational will feature a four-team Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu elimination tournament comprising several of the top MMA promotions showcased on UFC FIGHT PASS, including LFA, CFFC (Cage Fury FC), Fury FC, and James Krause’s FAC (Fighting Alliance Championship).  Each team will have four members, with a UFC veteran acting as team captain.  Athletes will be named to teams based on their respective connections to each promotion.

A $25,000 cash prize will be awarded to the winning team. 

The UFC FIGHT PASS Invitational will also offer several ‘superfights’ featuring notable MMA athletes and stars of the BJJ world, including: UFC lightweight Bobby Green; BJJ Black Belt Andy Varela; BJJ phenom Danielle Kelley; BJJ Black Belt Alexa Yanex; former UFC champion Ben Henderson; and former UFC welterweight Ben Saunders

Eddie Bravo’s Combat Jiu-Jitsu 16-Man Featherweight Championship

Sunday, December 19 at 6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT

Streaming live from Cancún, Mexico, the worlds of MMA and BJJ collide, as this event will feature a massive “superfight” headlined by big names from both sports. 

Super Fight Main Event

UFC’s all-time wins leader, Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone takes on one of the best grapplers of his generation, Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Craig Jones.

Eddie Bravo’s Combat Jiu-Jitsu 16-Man Featherweight Championship will also offer a Featherweight Tournament featuring grapplers from MMA promotions Lux and Fury FC, as well former participants of Dana White’s Contender Series.

Fury Pro Grappling 3

Sunday, December 30 at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT

Live from Philadelphia, Fury Pro 3 features a BJJ event loaded with current and former UFC and BJJ stars.

The main event will feature UFC strawweight champion Rose Namajunas squaring off with BJJ phenom Danielle Kelly.

Additional athletes schedule to appear on the stacked card, include: UFC featherweight Chase Hooper; UFC lightweight Renato Mociano; UFC middleweight Kevin Holland; UFC welterweight Neil Magny; UFC welterweight Sean Brady; UFC middleweight Andre Petroski; UFC featherweight Patrick Sabatini; and rising combat sports star Bo Nickel.
