UFC Fight Night Results: Derrick Lewis Returns To Form, Earns KO

Derrick Lewis served notice Saturday night at UFC Fight Night.

He is still a threat in the heavyweight division.

Lewis knocked out Chris Daukaus in the first round in their main event live on ESPN+ from the UFC Apex. 

With the win, Lewis set the record for most knockouts in the division at 13. He was coming off a loss to Ciryl Gane for the interim title this past August, improving to 26-8 overall and 5-1 in his last six.

In the co-main event, Belal Muhammad bested former UFC title contender Stephen Thompson by decision. Muhammad won all three rounds on all three scorecards. 

Amanda Lemos, Ricky Simon, Mateusz Gamrot and Cub Swanson were also winners on the main card. Simon, Gamrot and Swanson earned finishes. 

Gerald Meerschaert, Justin Tafa, Melissa Gatto, Charles Jourdain, Raquel Pennington, Don’Tale Mayes and Jordan Leavitt were all prelim winners. 

Lemos and Angela Hill earned “Fight of the Night” honors, while Swanson and Gatto picked up “Performance of the Night” bonuses.
