TV Host Is Not Taken With Meghan Markle – Mocks Clip From Ellen DeGeneres Interview

Yesterday, we reported that Meghan Markle was on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” lamenting her past life as a struggling actress while wearing an expensive designer blouse. Now, this is blowing up in Meghan’s face, as an Australian television host is using this interview to humiliate her with a snarky comment.

Australian Reporter Comments On Meghan’s Interview

Daily Mail reported that Amelia Adams, the U.S. correspondent on Australia’s version of the “Today” show, introduced a teaser of the interview on Wednesday. 

“Not sure we’ll hear any bombshells [about the Royal Family] in tomorrow’s chat with her old friend Ellen,” she said. “Certainly, at this stage, the clip they’ve released is Meghan reminiscing about her days as a struggling actress.”

“She spent a fair bit of time at the Warner Bros. studio, where the Ellen Show is recorded, and she said she used to show up there in an old Ford Explorer with a broken door,” Adams added.

Adams proceeded to play the clip from Meghan’s interview that we included above, in which Harry’s wife talked about her years struggling as an actress. 

“So after auditions, I would park at the back of the parking lot and I would open the trunk and climb in and then pull it shut behind me and crawl over all my seats to get out,” she said. “That’s how I would come to and fro.”

Adams’ Snarky Retort 

After the teaser ended, Adams could not help but fire back with a snarky reply.

“Yeah, she’s just keeping it real there… in a $4,000 Oscar De La Renta blouse,” Adams said. “Safe to say she has moved up in the world since those day.”

“Today” co-host Karl Stefanovic, who has been an outspoken critic of Meghan’s, could not help but crack up at Adams’ remark. 

“Well done, Amelia, well done,” he said. “A little sting in the tail there, I like that.”

Meghan’s interview with DeGeneres, which is set to air in its entirety in the U.S. on Friday, is her first interview since her explosive tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey earlier this year.

In this interview, Meghan will also be talking about her husband Prince Harry. She will supposedly recall a story of them celebrating Halloween together with a night out on the town in Toronto prior to their marriage. 

Royal experts have called into question her claims about growing up in poverty, given the fact that she is known to have been educated at an expensive Hollywood private school from kindergarten through the end of high school, courtesy of the father that she is now estranged from.

The millions of people who have had enough of Meghan and who question the stories she tells about her past will certainly get a kick out of Adams’ comments about her.
