Shaq Stands Up For Our Men & Women In Blue
Shaq is an NBA legend, honorary sheriff's deputy, and all-around good guy who just donated $5000 to help catch a police shooter.
Henry County Police Officer Paramhans Desai is in critical condition after being shot while trying to resolve a domestic dispute. The shooter is currently at large, and the reward for his capture is up to $30,000. That number grew thanks to the donation of Henry Country resident, honorary Sheriff’s deputy, and NBA legend Shaquille O’Neil. Shaq put up $5000 of his own money to help find the person who shot the police officer.
Of course, this was not his venture into law enforcement. After retiring from the NBA, Shaq became a reserve officer for Doral police in Florida and an honorary sheriff’s deputy in Clayton County, Georgia.
It is refreshing to see a celebrity stand with our men and women in uniform, especially after most of the NBA seems deadset on attacking the police.
He is married w/ 2 children. He remains in critical condition & continues to fight for his life. Please keep them in your thoughts & prayers. pic.twitter.com/bWZST0aPKM

Shaquille O’Neal is arguably one of the most charitable celebrities out there.
From donating money for meals on wheels, revitalizing basketball courts, or just helping someone pay their bills, Big Diesel is always lending a helping hand to those in need.
In addition to the millions he has given way, Big Aristotle also created an affordable shoe brand that sells exclusively at Walmart.
Shaq left his deal with Reebok in 1998 and never looked back.
He moved on from expensive sneakers and created affordable ones for Walmart.
They’ve sold over 200 million pairs since.

People hate, but Shaq is giving back to the community and taking it to the toxic sneaker culture.
Shaq did this intentionally so kids can afford sneakers to wear. Sneaker culture gotta stop tryna make jokes outta this. Corny as fuck. https://t.co/UXwwIOS51C

He is also known for helping his fans pay for things such as engagement rings.
.@SHAQ noticed a young man buying an engagement ring on layaway so the Big Diesel paid for it 🙏

We Need More Celebrities Like Him
I love Shaq Diesel.
He’s a man who has used his enormous (pun intended) God-given gifts for good and for helping those in need.
Not only that, but he’s charismatic and funny. Some people get so many blessings and never think to share them.
Shaq is one of the most hard-working and blessed people ever to walk this Earth, and to see him go out there and help people in need is truly inspirational.
He does it all without whining or expecting heaps of praise. And especially when it comes to supporting the police.
When you see the various negative reasons other former NBA stars are making headlines, it’s easy to remember why Shaq will be remembered as one of the greats.
If Shaquille O’Neal bashed the police on live TV, the media would praise him endlessly. Instead, he chose the unpopular path of working with the police to help them align with his community.
For that, he gets huge kudos from me.
