Canelo Alvarez Caleb Plant

Undisputed. That title now belongs to Canelo Alvarez.

For the first time in his legendary career, Alvarez is the holder of all four major titles.

Alvarez became the undisputed super middleweight champion Saturday night when he finished Caleb Plant. The bout took place inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

After dominating the fight through 10 rounds, Alvarez finished off Plant for his IBF title. He entered the night having held the WBC, WBO and WBA belts.

It was another clinic of a performance for Alvarez, considered by most to be the pound-for-pound best fighter today. He landed 32 percent of his punches including a 102-59 advantage in power strikes.

Plant gave a game effort, hitting on 23 percent of his 441 punches thrown with over 200 of those being considered power strikes.

At the time of the stoppage, Alvarez was ahead on all three scorecards, 98-92, 96-94 and 97-93. He lost the first on all three cards along with the ninth on all three.
