McGowan Campaigns For Elder – Slams Black Lives Matter
“They want to hear that the more we micro-label each other, the better we’ll be,” McGowan said, according to Fox News. “The reality is, today, I challenge this state, I challenge these voters, I challenge the media, to back up. Be human first, vote for humanity.”
McGowan went on to say that she is no longer a Democrat, and that while she disagrees with Elder on some policy issues, she feels that he is “the better candidate and the better man.”
Not stopping there, McGowan blasted the media and white critics disagreeing with Elder’s message as a Black man simply because he is against the Black Lives Matter movement.
“Understand who it’s coming from and that he might just know more than you living in a different skin,” McGowan said.

Elder Speaks Out
Elder is considered to be the frontrunner among the Republicans who are challenging Newsom.
If Elder wins, he would make history as the first black governor of California.
During his event with McGowan, Elder criticized critical race theory politics, saying that he doesn’t “believe in systemic racism.”
“The first time Gallup asked about racism, about whether or not you’d vote for a Black president was 1958,” Elder explained. “And the percentage who said yes was in the high 30s. Now, only 3% said they would not vote for a Black president.”
“I am going to be uniting when I become governor,” he continued. “I’m going to use my bully pulpit to unite us. Because we have far more in common than we have apart.”
McGowan Accuses Newsom’s Wife
This came days after McGowan accused Jennifer Siebel Newsom, the wife of Governor Newsom, of trying to get her to bury her claims that Harvey Weinstein raped her years ago.
“She called me and she set up a meeting with me to meet her somewhere in Brentwood [California],” McGowan alleged. “And I actually went, and I got like very creeped out and I saw her sitting where I was supposed to meet her. And I looked at her and I turned around and went back into my car and drove away.”
“She called me on behalf of a Theranos board member — longtime lawyer of Hillary and Bill Clinton and Weinstein — one David Boies,” she added. “So this woman I don’t know, some blonde lady with the last name Newsom, cold calls me and [says], ‘David Boies wants to know what it would take to make you happy.”

It’s always fun to see a former Democrat finally see the light and realize that the people in that party are truly full of it.
