Meghan McCain announced back in July that she was leaving the ABC talk show “The View” after two seasons of appearing as the token conservative on the mostly liberal panel. Now, McCain has announced her new gig, which will be writing as a columnist for DailyMail.com.

McCain made this announcement on Thursday, saying that she is excited to share her views “without fear of favor.”
“t’s a privilege to join the DailyMail.com team as a columnist,” McCain said. “I’ve been an avid reader of the website for many years and have been impressed by its global influence and reach. It truly is a juggernaut.”
“I’ve always respected the way DailyMail.com tackles issues across the entire political spectrum and I’m looking forward to sharing my own opinions without fear or favor on the important issues that matter to our readers across the globe,” she added.

Daily Mail’s Editor-In-Chief Praises Meghan McCain
Martin Clarke, Publisher and Editor-In-Chief, also spoke out on Thursday to say, “I’m delighted to welcome Meghan to the DailyMail.com team.”
“Meghan’s column will be a space for her to have her uncensored say on the news of the day whether it be political, breaking news, showbiz or issues based,” Clarke continued. “I’ve always been impressed with Meghan’s ability to generate discussion and debate and I look forward to her columns tackling what Americans are talking about.”

Sparring With Joy Behar
During her time on “The View,” Meghan McCain frequently sparred with her radically liberal fellow cohost Joy Behar.
In one fiery exchange, McCain went off after Behar claimed that the Republican Party “doesn’t care” about allegations of sex trafficking involving Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL).
This did not sit well with McCain.
“Well first of all, I have family members and good friends who all work on Capitol Hill in Republican politics, and trust me, the Republican party and people on Capitol Hill are embarrassed by this,” McCain fired back. “So, I think I have a lot better sourcing on that than you do Joy, no offense.”
Why Meghan McCain Left ‘The View’
McCain announced in July that she was leaving “The View.” The 36-year-old wanted to continue living in Washington D.C. with her husband and their young daughter.
“I think as any new mom knows, when I think about where I want [daughter] Liberty to have, you know her first steps and her first words — I just have this really wonderful life here [in D.C.] that ultimately, I felt I didn’t want to leave,” she said as she announced her exit, according to People Magazine.
Meghan McCain is her own brand of conservative and a woman who’s not afraid to tell it like it is.
