Jake Paul Responds To Potential Fights With Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz

Fresh off turning back the challenge of one former UFC champion, Jake Paul discussed another.

Paul improved to 4-0 with a split decision win over Tyron Woodley Sunday night. 

In the post-fight press conference, Paul was asked about Conor McGregor.

“Conor has a lot more to focus on than me right now,” Paul said (thanks to MMA Fighting for the quotes). “I’m five wins in a row. He’s 1-3 in the past four years. 

“The guy needs to get off his little vodka or whatever his brand is and sober up and start to get back in the gym.”

Paul added that after “Notorious” does that, “then we can (expletive) fight.”

“To be honest, no way he hits harder than Woodley,” Paul said. “He doesn’t weigh as much as Woodley. He’s shorter than Woodley. I said it before the fight. I think Woodley’s a harder fight than him, especially on the way where he’s going.

“Conor’s going down, I’m going up. Woodley cam in game. We’ll see.”

Asked about Nate Diaz, Paul simply said “Another loser, talking up.”

“Of course he wants a payday,” Paul said. “I’m one of the money fighters now in boxing.”

According to odds by SportsBetting.ag, Woodley is the favorite to meet Paul next, checking in at +150. Tommy Fury, who fought on the same card, is next at +200 followed by McGregor, Dillon Danis and Jorge Masvidal at +800.

Diaz checks in at +1200 on a list that also includes Dana White, Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao and Anderson Silva.
