Heavyweights Cheick Kongo and Sergei Kharitonov will headline Friday’s Bellator 265 event.

The card takes place from the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, airing live on Showtime.

Kharitonov is unbeaten in his last two, earning wins outside of the Bellator cage. In November, he claimed the Parius FC title with a first round finish over Oli Thompson.

However, the last time the Russian fought in Bellator was in 2019 when he lost in the second round to Linton Vassell.

Since 2017, Kharitonov is 8-1 with a pair of no-contest fights.

Meanwhile, Kongo is looking for his first win since besting Vitaly Minakov in 2019. He had a no-contest with Ryan Bader for the title in September of that year and dropped a split decision to Timothy Johnson this past October.

But that is not all.

Bellator will also put Adam Borics and Jay Jay Wilson in a thrilling featherweight No. 1 contender match as the co-main event.

The winner is expected to challenge new champion AJ McKee for the title.
