AEW has been making headlines the past the month. They brought in two released WWE superstars in Andrade El Idolo and then Malakai Black.

Then, within the past few days, the names of Daniel Bryan and CM Punk were mentioned. At this point, it is but confirmed that both have signed with AEW.

While nothing is set in stone, the idea is for Punk to appear at All Out. And, Bryan would debuted when the company heads to New York City in September.

With so many wrestlers coming in from WWE, it has some fans wanting AEW to focus on new talent. They do have somewhat of a point as WCW flopped by never building their own stars.

But, AEW has a handful of wrestlers that could one day be the face of the company. MJF, Orange Cassidy, Jungle Boy and Sammy Guevara are just a few.

On the women’s side, Britt Baker has really shined over the past year. Her mic skills are the best in the division and she gets better each week inside the ring.

Britt Baker Injured

This past Wednesday, Britt Baker defended her AEW Women’s Championship against Nyla Rose at Fyter Fest night two. Finally, the champion was able to get the better of Rose.

Although, it now appears Baker was injured in the match. She was spotted at Friday’s Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship talking to Page VanZant.

In the photo Baker uploaded to social media, she is clearly wearing a cast. Apparently, she suffered a broken wrist in her title defense.

As of now, there is no timeframe for how long she will be out. Also, no word if AEW will need to make a decision about the Women’s Championship.

This would mark the second time Baker was injured in a match with Rose. The first time, saw her miss months of action.

But, she still appeared on TV each week as her gimmick really connected with fans. Even without being able to wrestle, Baker managed to improve and get over.

Hopefully, she keeps the title and continues to entertain fans each week.
