Country music legend Reba McEntire has been dating her boyfriend Rex Linn, an actor who has appeared on shows like “CSI: Miami,” for the past year. This week, Reba opened up about her relationship with Linn, and talked about how their mutual Christian faith keeps them going strong.

Reba appeared on this week’s episode of the show “Jesus Calling: Stories of Faith,” which is hosted by her sister Susie McEntire-Eaton.

Their other sister Alice Lynn Foran joined them to discuss their lives as Christian mothers and life partners.

Reba Talks Finding Love With Rex Linn

It didn’t take long for Reba’s relationship with Rex to come up in the conversation.

“I know it’s really cool, seeing you and Rex pray together and you’re one in your faith,” Susie said at one point, according to Wide Open Country.

Reba responded by saying that Rex’s strong faith in both God and the Bible have made him the boyfriend that she’s been dreaming of all her life.

“I’ve waited 66 years for a man to pray with and to share a faith and love of the Lord and to be compassionate and have a compassionate heart,” Reba added. “That’s very special.”

Inside Reba And Rex’s Relationship

Earlier this month, a source spoke to Closer Weekly about how in love Reba and Rex continue to be.

“They’re very similar … perfect for each other really,” the source said. “They enjoy being laid back, staying at home, drinking a few beers, watching football … or they can travel together, go to museums, catch a show or listen to music.”

“Their friendship and romance is very easy going,” added the insider. “It never felt forced, which is why Reba fell for Rex.”

The couple reportedly “have a blast together,” with the source saying, “They’re always laughing, which is probably the secret to their happiness.”

Reba Gushes Over Rex

Reba announced her relationship to the world last year, saying that they had started dating amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

“He’s very into my music, I’m very into his career — it’s just great getting to talk to somebody who I find very interesting, very funny and very smart, and is interested in me too,” Reba said at the time, adding that he is “very special.”

Reba has been married and divorced twice, so she has seen her fair share of heartbreak in life.
