Daniel Bryan allowed his contract with the WWE to expire. There was a 90-day non-compete clause in his recent deal. With that said, a new chapter awaits the Leader of the Yes! Movement. Sounds like he has signed with AEW.

Daniel Bryan Signed With AEW

Bryan Danielson has sealed a deal with All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It seems he wanted the same money, but fewer dates.

It also sounds like Bryan wanted to have input in his character and work in Japan. Tony Khan approved all those requests.

As per Bodyslam.net, AEW has some special things planned for Danielson. The report notes that the promotion won’t push the button on all this until the fall.

More On Daniel Bryan And His Signed AEW Deal

For now, tentative plans are in place. It seems that Bryan Danielson will debut on AEW during the Arthur Ashe Stadium event on September 22nd in New York.

The company wants to wrap up the All Out pay-per-view (PPV). Then, they’ll move onto the next phase to bring him into storylines.

Having said that, plans could always change. After all, with news breaking around CM Punk’s possible AEW debut, things might be shifted around.

Danielson’s move to AEW is not overly shocking. He was taken out of any future WWE promo content.

Plus, there was an overall “feeling” he was headed to AEW. With that said, he may not be the only one.

AEW has debuted some incredible former WWE talents. From Andrade El Idolo to Malakai Black, not to mention a slew of WWE Hall of Famers.

There are also rumors buzzing about CM Punk headed to the promotion. Fans will have to stay tuned.

One wrestler the company did not snag is Samoa Joe. While he was released from the WWE in the spring, Triple H ensured to reel him back into the NXT fold.

Now there’s news about an in-ring return. See below.

Who else can’t wait to see Samoa Joe back in the squared circle? It’s been close to two years since he’s competed in the ring!

Joe’s been at odds with Karrion Kross since back at NXT. Things have escalated rather quickly.

Joe could not attack someone unless provoked. He’s been poked at plenty, recently.

Seems that this is all being set up for a match. Fans could see Joe versus Kross, quite soon.

Samoa Joe At NXT TakeOver 36

As per F4WOnline, Joe versus Kross will be featured during the next NXT Takeover. The event is slated for Sunday, August 22nd.

Sounds like that coveted NXT Championship will be on the line, too. This all happened at Wednesday’s NXT TV tapings.

Joe challenged Kross for the title, which is set to take place at NXT TakeOver 36. Could Joe win that championship for the third time?

Even more interesting is that Karrion Kross debuted on RAW this past Monday. He also lost to Jeff Hardy.

Sounds like Kross will be pulling double duty between the main roster and NXT over August. How will he be booked on both brands moving forward?

It’s hard to say. But one thing is for certain, the Joe versus Kross match should be epic.
