Well, we have our next crossover contest, as former UFC champion Vitor Belfort will meet former boxing champion Oscar De La Hoya.
According to a report by The Athletic and MMA Junkie, the exhibition match will take place under the Triller banner on September 18 from Las Vegas. It event will feature music and a Verzuz event in Las Vegas throughout the weekend.
Belfort, who last competed in 2018 inside the Octagon, signed with ONE Championship in 2020 but has since departed from the Asian promotion.
De La Hoya, four years older than Belfort at 48, won gold in boxing at the Olympics and held titles in multiple weight classes during his career.
