UFC On ESPN 25: ‘The Korean Zombie’ Returns To The Octagon
Chan Sung Jung, better known as "The Korean Zombie," headlines Saturday's UFC on ESPN card against Dan Ige.
Fresh off a thrilling UFC 263 event, we head back to Las Vegas for UFC on ESPN 25 and the return of “The Korean Zombie.”
Chan Sung Jung, better known as The Korean Zombie, headlines the card live on ESPN2 and ESPN+ opposite Dan Ige. The two featherweights are sure to bring the excitement from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
Jung is coming off a tough five-round decision loss to Brian Ortega back in October that snapped his two-fight win streak. He has been involved in some incredible wars including two “Fight of the Night” bouts with Dustin Poirier and Yair Rodriguez.
During his Octagon run, the South Korean has earned two submission, one knockout nad three performance bonuses, as his eight all-time bonuses rank first in UFC featherweight history.
This bout with Ige could be another epic encounter. After a decision loss to Calvin Kattar that snapped his six-fight win streak, Ige responded by finishing Gavin Tucker in 22 seconds this past March.
Along with Jung vs. Ige, Aleksei Oleinik meets Sergey Spivak in a heavyweight battle, Tim Means is set to square off with Danny Roberts and Marlon Vera takes on Davey Grant.
