Piers Morgan Reveals ‘Good Morning Britain’ Is Desperate To Get Him Back After Meghan Markle Drama

British television personality Piers Morgan says that “Good Morning Britain” is desperate to get him back in the wake of his comments criticizing Meghan Markle.

‘They Reached Out’

“They reached out — there have been approaches. Never say never,” said Morgan, 56, according to Page Six

Ratings for the morning show tanked after Morgan left.

As you may remember, Piers Morgan came under fire after he slammed Meghan on “Good Morning Britain” following her explosive tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey in March.

He has no regrets about the comments he made, however, saying in his latest interview that Meghan and her husband Prince Harry should be stripped of their royal titles.

“I think they should be stripped of their titles because they’re trashing the institution and causing a lot of damage in the Commonwealth where a lot of the countries are believing this racism crap,” he added. “They’ve become the world’s biggest victims in the middle of a pandemic. It’s pathetic. Harry needs to grow up.”

Morgan Remains Defiant

Immediately after leaving “Good Morning Britain,” Morgan remained defiant about questioning the claims that Meghan made in her Oprah interview, including that she was a victim of racism from within the royal family and became suicidal after her marriage.

“Those of you that know me well enough know that, despite my many faults, I’m always willing to stand my ground for the things that I think matter most,” he wrote on Instagram at the time. “And now I’ve lost my job at ‘Good Morning Britain’ because I chose not to apologise for disbelieving Meghan Markle’s claims in her interview with Oprah Winfrey.”

“I thus became the latest ‘victim’ of the cancel culture that is permeating our country, every minute, of every hour, of everyday,” he added. “Though of course, I consider myself to be neither a victim, nor actually cancelled.”

Does Morgan Deserve To Get His Job Back?

The fact that Morgan was targeted by the cancel culture mob simply for daring to criticize Meghan is completely ridiculous, and it shows just how powerful she is with the craziest of liberal snowflakes.

Morgan has a unique take on the world that makes him good television, regardless of whether you love him or hate him, which means it’s no surprise that ratings for this morning show tanked in his absence.

He’s definitely one to toot his own horn and pointed out that he is more popular than ever.

He had this to say about Meghan Markle, “She [Meghan] thinks she’s beaten me? She might be in for a surprise, because I suspect I’ll be back soon.”

Morgan added, “And my views certainly haven’t changed. If Meghan thinks she has cancelled me or won the battle, she is in for a big shock. I’ve never been more popular.”

James Conrad

James Conrad’s passion for politics is only overshadowed by his longstanding interest in Hollywood. His unique perspective as a gay conservative fuels him to challenge celebrity views and those who think they have a right to tell anyone how to think or vote. James proudly wields his minority point of view to combat identity politics and cut through his typecast. Fun fact: James’ guilty pleasure is the British royal family.
