Jane Fonda treason Fox News pipeline Stephen Miller

Jane Fonda’s infamous Vietnam War protests that earned her the nickname “Hanoi Jane” have just come back to haunt the Hollywood darling. During a Fox News segment on Wednesday, former senior Trump White House advisor Stephen Miller suggested the two-time Academy Award winner turned climate activist committed treason in 1972.

Miller made these comments while lambasting the left for holding Fonda up as a modern-day “hero” despite her Vietnam War era behavior during a fiery segment discussing the pipeline.

Jane Fonda’s Vietnam War Protests

Daily Mail reported that Fonda flew to Vietnam in 1972 and went on Vietnamese radio to condemn America’s military.

The actress was then photographed straddling an anti-aircraft gun that was used to shoot down American planes.

Fox News Segment On Biden Calls To Stop Trump Pipeline

While appearing on Fox News, Miller attacked Fonda for her recent calls for President Joe Biden to stop the plans for pipelines that Trump put in place during his time in office.

“What she did in the Vietnam War… people may have forgotten this,” Miller said of Fonda. “She volunteered herself as a tool of North Vietnamese Communist propaganda. She did North Vietnamese propaganda broadcasts on their radio station.”

“She sat on their anti-aircraft battery that’s used to shoot down American planes and American airmen,” he added. “This is by any definition, and I am going to use the word, what she did is treason. And she was held up as a hero?”

Fonda has since apologized to American veterans for taking part in the infamous photo, but has said she does not regret her activism against the war.

“I was trying to help end the killing and the war, but there were times when I was thoughtless and careless about it and I’m very sorry that I hurt them,” she told Barbara Walters back in 1988.

Jane Fonda Calls On Biden To Hasten Stopping Trump Pipeline

This comes days after Fonda lashed out at President Biden in a CNN interview, saying that he has not done “enough” about the oil pipeline crisis.

“We’re very, very grateful for what he’s been doing. He’s done a lot of very good things. But not enough. Not bold enough. And not fast enough. We’re up against time,” Fonda said. “The scientists say we have less than nine years to cut our emissions in half. Line 3 is going in the absolute opposite direction, and the news every day is telling us, emissions are going up, not down.”

“So we have to put our bodies on the line and do whatever we can to get our administration to call a halt to these permits,” she added.

Jane Fonda has a long history of radically liberal activism which many view as anti-American. Stephen Miller’s criticism of the “Grace and Frankie” star will be music to the ears of many Americans.

American just contemplated the brave souls lost to keep this nation free on Memorial Day. So it’s difficult to say any kind words about a Hollywood celebrity who disrespected American troops in this way.

For now, we’ll continue to tune in to Gary Sinise’s good works and tune out of Jane Fonda’s intolerable nonsense.
