After waking up from a night out, Lewis Oldfield had quite the surprise. He found out he changed his name legally to John Cena

Oldfield found that his boozy night out did have an unexpected outcome. Lewis explained what happened during an interview with English newspaper The Sun.

“We’d had a few drinks and were play-wrestling. We were just messing around, pretending to do announcements like in the WWE and one of my friends was introducing John Cena.”

“One thing led to another and they dared me to change my name to John Cena.”

“I was going to get a tattoo saying it but did this instead. I always follow through with dares so I just did it. I’m not even a wrestling fan!”

Fortunately, his family were not insulted when they found out. In fact, his mother found the story absolutely hilarious.

“My mum couldn’t stop laughing at me when she found out. My dad’s more serious so I’ve not told him yet.”

The man spent a little more over a hundred pounds to change his name legally. Interestingly, Oldfield has decided to keep the name because he likes it!

Talk about a crazy night out. It is certainly one of the more interesting ones I ever heard!

If you are a genuine John Cena fan, then there is some good news for you today. The Hollywood star officially confirmed his return to the WWE in the future.

John Cena last appeared on WWE TV at WrestleMania 36. However, rumors are rampant that he is set for a big match with Roman Reigns at SummerSlam.

While Cena remains tight-lipped about a possible feud, he did admit a WWE return is in the works.

During an interview with Jimmy Fallon, Cena confirmed that rumors about his impending return are true. However, he did not specify when.

“Those rumors are true. I will definitely be back to the WWE, I just don’t know when.”

Fallon also asked about Cena’s social media post in May. During this time, he posted a WWE logo making fans speculate wildly.

“Yeah, I posted that back in May. I was feeling rather nostalgic about the WWE, and I just wanted to post the logo. Some people took it as I was returning immediately, which is not the case.”

“I haven’t had my last match and I can’t wait to have my next match.”

It remains to be seen who will get John Cena’s final match. But much like Hulk Hogan, will there ever be a final match for the popular leader of the Cenation?

Cena has gone more mainstream, so the WWE is likely to use him for special appearances in the future.

So with Cena, we most likely have a second Rock on our hands where WrestleMania appearances are concerned.
