Sadie Robertson and her husband Christian Huff shared the news of the birth of their baby girl Honey James in a sweet Instagram post.
The 23-year-old mom-to-be detailed her pregnancy on social media. Sadie even kept fans aware of her battle with COVID-19 early in her pregnancy. Getting ill during the first trimester can cause some alarms, but the couple fought through it all with a lot of prayers.
Despite the drama and concerns about being pregnant during a pandemic, everything worked out perfectly and the “Duck Dynasty” star can finally hold her daughter in her arms.
The baby’s due date, came and went. Little Honey was late.
Earlier in the week, Sadie shared an Instagram post saying she was 40 weeks and 5 days into the pregnancy.
As you can see from the pictures below, Sadie was thrilled as she appeared ready to pop.
BACKSTORY: Pregnant Sadie Robertson Lands In Hospital With COVID-19
On Wednesday, Sadie shared the good news that her daughter was born the day before. The new parents named her Honey James.
As a devout Christian, it was important to Sadie to mention God’s hand in the miraculous gift of her daughter’s birth.
“We saw a million little miracles yesterday – the best one being this girl right here… Honey,” Shared Robertson shared in Instagram post below. “The pure goodness of God. Story to come, but I’m way too occupied right now by cuteness. 5.11.21 ”
Their baby girl has a non-traditional name, but Sadie previously pointed out that it is biblically based.
This is very important in their faith-based marriage.
In April, she shared the announcement of Honey’s name because she and Christian didn’t want her name being leaked to the media by someone else.
Sadie said the name comes from Proverbs 16 and describes a “strong healing component.”
It is one of her favorite Bible verses that is now celebrated in the name of her first born child.
She wrote in the Instagram post below, “Gracious words are like HONEY, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.”

Christian and Sadie were married in November 2019. They announced their pregnancy in October of last year.
