Justin Bieber has shaved his head. This new buzzcut comes on the heels of the pop singer being accused of cultural appropriation for wearing dreadlocks.
The “Baby” singer first shared pictures of himself wearing dreadlocks at the end of April. The new hairstyle didn’t even last a month after he faced such critical backlash for being politically incorrect.
He wore dreadlocks in 2016 which also sparked controversy.

Some Bieber Fans Accused Him Of Cultural Appropriation
While celebrity friends generally had positive things to say about Justin Bieber’s dreadlocks, fans had some highly critical comments.
“J, please educate yourself on culture [sic] appropriation…. You shouldn’t be wearing dreads… With Love,” a fan replied to the Instagram post above.
He was greeted in several posts with accusations of cultural appropriation of “Black Culture” for wearing dreadlocks.

“TELL HIM HIS HIR IS CULTURAL APPROPRIATION. HE HAS HELLA BLACK PEOPLE AROUND HIM AINT NO ONE FINNA TELL HIM HE LOOKS LIKE AN IGNORANT FOOL? LIKE THIS IS NOT ABOUT WHETHER HE LOOKS GOOD OR BAD. THIS IS ABOUT DISRESPECT TO A CULTURE THAT IS NOT HIS. SO SOMEONE WAKE UP AROUND HIM AND CALL HIM OUT… OR IS EVERYONE JUST A YES MAN AROUND THIS MAN…,” a follower tweeted in all caps.
“Didn’t you say you were educating yourself about Black culture so what is this foolery [?],” one asked, referencing the star’s June 2020 social media post addressing the ways he’s “benefitted off Black culture,” another said.
“This is cultural appropriation… I know you can do better,” another chimed in.
So, Justin Bieber’s hairstyle didn’t even make it through Spring.
On Sunday, the “Holy” singer skipped the Billboard Music Awards despite being nominated.
He did find time to share a photo with his model wife Hailey Baldwin. The photo shows off the pop star’s freshly buzzed head.

Shares His Christian Faith
Justin Bieber generally doesn’t let Hollywood’s standards define him.
Unlike most stars, he proudly and openly shares his faith on a regular basis. He has stood tall against criticism in the past.
Maybe Bieber thought it was time for a new haircut, but the timing is interesting consider he was savagely accused of cultural appropriation.
