In the crazy world of music and film industries, it’s rare to find a marriage that is able to actually stand the test of time. That’s what makes the 18-year marriage of country music star Brad Paisley and Father Of The Bride actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley so special!
Brad And Kimberly Open Up About Their Marriage
In a new interview with People Magazine, Brad and Kimberly revealed some of the secrets behind their nearly 20-year union.
The couple explained that on their wedding anniversary each year, they have a tradition in which they sit down together with a special journal and write down the favorite memories they’ve shared over the last year.
“Our greatest hits,” Kimberly, 49, said of this tradition. “We record the meaningful moments, the best laughs.”
“That’s a big part of our relationship—focusing on the laughter and keeping a sense of play,” she added, revealing what they believe to be a major secret behind their loving marriage.

Brad And Kimberly’s Love Story
It was love at first sight for Brad as soon as he saw Kimberly in the 1991 movie Father Of The Bride.
They met a decade later, when he asked her to be in his music video for his song “I’m Gonna Miss Her.”

The couple married in 2003, and unlike many other couples, they say their marriage has only gotten stronger and better since then.
“A lot of married couples would rather do anything but spend the evening together,” Brad explained. “That’s not the case in our house.”
When asked what they still love about each other, Brad and Kimberly had no problem coming up with things.
“You keep our house afloat — seeing you give birth to two kids and raise a third is amazing,” he said of his wife. “And you try to do the right thing all the time.”
As for what Kimberly loves about Brad, she said, it’s his “gigantic heart.”
“You care about all creatures, great and small,” she added. To illustrate this, she recounted a recent night in which a torrential downpour of rain flooded their Nashville-area home. Despite the pouring rain, Brad ran outside in the middle of the night to see if a nest full of goose eggs was alright.
“They weren’t,” he admitted, yet his wife said, “But it’s so sweet how much you care.”

Brad And Kimberly Talk Quarantine
Many couples have struggled with being around each other so much in quarantine over the past year. But this hasn’t been an issue for Brad and Kimberly.
“She’s used to three days a week at minimum that I’m gone, so we’ve learned a lot about ourselves this year,” Brad said. “I figured out I really like being around you!”
Brad and Kimberly concluded the interview by saying that the coronavirus pandemic has only made their marriage stronger.
“There’s no substitute for memories and time and having experienced all of this together,” Brad said.
It’s so refreshing to see a famous couple that is so madly and unapologetically in love.
