Yi, who also played Safoya in 2017’s The Disaster Artist alongside Franco, claimed in an Instagram post that producers on the film attempted to bribe her to stay on the project when she attempted to quit after she heard reports claiming Franco was a sexual predator.

She shared to Instagram an image that reads, “When I tried to break legal contract & quit Disaster Artist because James Franco is a sexual predator, they tried to bribe me with a bigger acting role.”

“I cried and told them that that was the exact opposite of what I wanted, that I didn’t feel safe working with a f***ing sexual predator,” she continued.

Yi then added, “They minimized & said Franco being a predator was so last yr and that he changed… when I literally heard of him abusing new women that week.”

The actress would also lament white men. She wrote, “Disgusted by white men choosing power over protecting children and women from predators.”

She continued, “White men saying it’s not their responsibility when holding Franco accountable, or when holding Seth Rogen and enablers accountable. Then whose responsibility is it?”

The women and children who have PTSD from Franco? Or the future targets of abuse? White men perform infantilism when it comes to sacrificing their white supremacy & patriachy bc they actually don’t give a f***.”

In the caption of the post, Yi would specifically accuse Rogen. She wrote, “Seth Rogen was one of the producers on this film so he definitely knows about the bribe and why I quit.”

She continued, “Seth also did a sketch on SNL with Franco enabling Franco preying on children. Right after Franco was caught.”

Yi then claimed, “Franco has a long history of preying on children. This is on top all the corrupt laws that protect predators made by violent white men.”

In 2018, during the Golden Globe Awards at least five women accused the actor of sexual misconduct.

Breakfast Club’s Ally Sheedy even hinted that Franco drove her out of Hollywood. She wrote in a now-deleted tweet, “James Franco just won. Please never ask me why I left the film/tv business.”

Franco denied the accusations during an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Two of the women, Sarah Tither-Kaplan and Toni Gaal, who accused Franco of sexual misconduct filed a lawsuit against him and his Studio4 business partner Vince Jolivertte.

They claimed that Franco and Jolivertte “engaged in widespread inappropriate and sexually charged behavior towards female students by sexualizing their power as a teacher and an employer by dangling the opportunity for roles in their projects.”

Franco’s lawyers denied the allegations against him saying they were “false and inflammatory, legally baseless and brought as a class action with the obvious goal of grabbing as much publicity as possible for attention-hungry Plaintiffs.”

Earlier this year it was reported that Franco reached a settlement in that lawsuit.

Yi is no stranger to making accusations. She accused David Cross of racism in October 2017.

She wrote, “I think about the first time I met David Cross ten years ago & he made fun of my pants (that were tattered because I was poor). Dumbfounded I stared at him speechless and he said to me ‘what’s a matter? You don’t speak English?? Ching-chong-ching-chong.'”

In a subsequent tweet she stated, “Then after he saw I was offended he asked me if I was going to fight with him karate in a southern accent. Then a few years later he was re-introduced to me after my comedy show with his girlfriend at the time & he said ‘Hi nice to meet you’.”

In another one she wrote, “I will say this: -I can tell the difference between this man making a joke vs condescending me.”

She added, “-This happened 10 years ago and I sure as hell hope he’s changed (or at the very least, he’s scared enough to not be his racist self.)”

In a follow-up she added, “HOWEVER it is very uncool that a 40+ man was being racist towards me, being a young 20 year old woman who was clearly on the verge of tears from his first racist comment.”

Cross denied the accusations.

He wrote on Twitter, “A note to any and all. This accusation from Charlyne took me by surprised and was deeply upsetting. I would never intentionally hurt someone like that. I do not remember doing this when I met her.”

“I do remember meeting her though. She was the then girlfriend of a good friend of mine and we were about to start working on a movie together. I am NOT accusing Charlene of lying and I’m truly sorry if I hurt her, it was never my intention do that,” he continued.

Cross then wrote, “I do not remember it like she remembers it (and clearly we’re quite a bit far apart on this) but I reached out to her privately and expressed that and more, including the possibility that perhaps we are both misremembering *exactly* what happened that night? Anyway, I can’t believe I have to write this but I am not a racist nor a bully and loathe them in real life. #Rashomon”
