UFC Vegas 22 Results: Derek Brunson Silences Kevin Holland

Before and during the main event Saturday night, Kevin Holland talked. After, it was Derek Brunson getting the last words in at UFC Vegas 22.

Brunson earned a main event victory live on ESPN+ from the UFC Apex, sweeping the scorecards in a middleweight contest.

Using his effective wrestling and size advantage, Brunson controlled the action. The win was the fourth in a row for the veteran, improving his record to 22-7 overall.

In the co-main event, Max Griffin knocked out Song Kenan in the opening round.

Montserrat Ruiz bested Cheyanne Buys, Adrian Yanez finished Gustavo Lopez and Tai Tuivasa did the same to Harry Hunsucker.

On the prelims, Macy Chiasson, Grant Dawson, Trevin Giles, Montel Jackson and Bruno Gustafo da Silva all earned wins.

In an interesting note, the husband-wife tandem of Cheyanne Buys and JP Buys competed. Both suffered setbacks.
