As is the norm right now, fight changes happen at a moments notice including – and definitely – within the walls of the UFC.
So while these are some of the latest new fights signed, it is possible things will change rather quickly.
At UFC on ESPN 20, which takes place January 20, Warlley Alves tangles with Mounir Lazzez in a welterweight affair. Also, Gaetano Pirrello makes his Octagon debut against Ricky Simon in a bantamweight battle.
UFC 258 will feature a welterweight championship match pitting Kamaru Usman against Gilbert Burns. These two were scheduled to meet in 2020, but COVID-19 caused the postponement.
Also, welterweights Dhiego Lima and Belal Muhammad are booked for the card. That event is set for February 13 with a location yet to be announced.
A week later, Curtis Blaydes and Derrick Lewis meet in a heavyweight affair with fellow heavyweights Andrei Arlovski and Tom Aspinall also on the docket. A third heavyweight battle pitting Serghei Spivac and Jared Vanderaa against one another is planned.
In March at UFC 259, Petr Yan defends his bantamweight belt against top contender Aljamain Sterling. These two have also been previously booked.
Amanda Lemos and Livinha Souza are expected to square off that same night in a women’s strawweight contest.
Another UFC Fight Night card in March has received female bantamweights Julia Avila and Julija Stoliarenko.
