Lori Loughlin marriage

Former “Fuller House” star Lori Loughlin was released from prison after serving two months for her role in the college admissions scandal. Now, there are some rumor suggesting her marriage to Mossimo Giannulli may be ‘on the brink.’

Is Loughlin’s Marriage In Jeopardy?

Giannulli is nearly two months into a five-month prison sentence for his own role in the college admissions scandal. One tabloid claims their marriage is on the brink but, Gossip Cop says the reporting is false.

Gossip Cop looked into it and debunked these claims:

According to Star, when Mossimo Giannulli is released from prison in a few months, he could be a “single man.”

The source reveals, “There’s been a lot of finger-pointing and blame,” between the pair. The informant discloses that the couple plan to live separate lives because they sold their Bel-Air home. Another source added, “They both acknowledge their foundation has crumbled.”

The couple did sell their Bel-Air home, but bought another one together in Hidden Hills according to Gossip Cop.

Loughlin and her husband pleaded guilty last year to charges related to them allegedly paying $500,000 in bribe money to have their two daughters admitted to the University of California as members of the crew team, even though neither girl had ever rowed before.

Loughlin’s Chances For A Hollywood Comeback

Brand and reputation management expert Eric Schiffer spoke about Loughlin’s chances of launching a comeback in Hollywood following her scandal. He’s not representing her at this time.

She will need to show a level of regret and remorse to the public. She’s got to begin to build back goodwill that allows people to reconnect with her and understand how she could have made such disturbing decisions that caused this struct development to her and her celebrity,” Schiffer said, according to Deseret

He added that she will be forced to play a more “nuanced” role that isn’t anything too large in whatever she is cast in.

“Walking out of prison makes it very difficult,” he said. “It’s going to take your time to get some opportunities, where she’s not playing either villains or darker characters with chilling ambition that she wasn’t known for. Her brand was squeaky clean and now it’s got to rectify this new persona in the public of a crafty con artist that creates problems.”

Schiffer Thinks She Might Get a Darker Role

However, Schiffer made sure to add that he would not be surprised if she ends up being cast in a darker role.

“It’s Hollywood, which means she will find a few producers who want to benefit from her post-prison publicity and embrace darker Lori Loughlin characters,” he said.

One thing is for sure, this will certainly be an interesting year for Loughlin.
