The Ultimate Fighting Championship will kick off its 2021, pay-per-view campaign with one of the game’s biggest stars, and a new trailer for the upcoming event is reflective of that fact.
Even if you’re a casual fan, you likely know that Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier are fighting for a second time, January 23rd, at UFC 257. When they battled back in 2014, McGregor ended the fight not long in with a series of punches.
Since then, McGregor (22-4) has gone on to win both the featherweight and lightweight titles and has established himself as one of the biggest names in all combat sports.
Poirier (26-6, 1 no-contest) has also done just fine. In the following years, Poirier established himself as one of the best lightweights in the sport and also won an interim title.
