Recently ONE Championship announced that Demetrious Johnson is going to challenge Adriano Moraes for the flyweight belt on Februray 24th. In addition, the promotion’s also shared out his best moments with the company to date.
Johnson’s move to ONE Championship
The renowned fighter made his way to ONE in 2018, following Johnson’s split decision loss to Henry Cejudo at UFC 227. Johnson had defeated the UFC ‘s flyweight title a record 11 times, consecutively, before losing to Cejudo.
The star’s best moments with ONE
Since then, Johnson has gone on to win ONE’s flyweight grand prix, and in doing so, he’s secured a February 24th bout with the champ, Moraes. The dynamic and comprehensive fighter defeated Yuya Wakamatsu, Tatsumitsu Wada and Danny Kingad en route to the grand prix win.

Johnson was originally expected to challenge Moraes this past April. But, the event was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
