Kayla Harrison

Reigning PFL women’s lightweight champion Kayla Harrison will compete once more before the end of 2020.

Harrison steps into the Titan FC cage this Thursday night to face Jozette Cotton live on UFC Fight Pass.

After making a move over to Invicta FC to fight at featherweight, the two-time Olympic gold medalist in judo will return to the lightweight division for this rematch.

Harrison and Cotton squared off against one another in 2018 under the PFL banner. Harrison earned a second round TKO in what was her second professional fight at the time.

The 30-year-old Harrison is 8-0 in MMA including three wins via knockout and three more by submission. She claimed gold medals at both the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics.

Earlier this year, Harrison fought for Invicta FC to stay in shape and sharpen her skills while awaiting the start of the 2021 PFL season. She bested Courtney King via second round TKO in the main event of that card.

Lex McMahon, Titan FC COO, told ESPN in an interview, “Kayla’s obviously a phenomenal talent and we’re excited to have her.”

Titan FC takes place from the Intercontinental Hotel in Miami and streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
