Not only did Mamed Khalidov reclaim KSW’s middleweight title on Saturday, the decorated fighter did so in jaw-dropping fashion.

Khalidov puts away Scott Askham with leaping switch kick

The 40-year-old Khalidov faced Scott Askham in the headliner of KSW 55, and as you can see by watching the clip below, he reclaimed the middleweight title with a leaping switch kick and follow-up punches.

So, the KO wasn’t as devastating as Joaquin Buckley’s at UFC Fight Island 5. But, it was pretty, pretty spectacular.

Khalidov was competing for the first time since December, when he lost via decision to Askham. With the win, the Polish star ended a three fight losing skid and moved his overall record to 35-7-2.

The 32-year-old Askham’s record now sits at 19-5.
