Chasity Sowell viral drive-thru zoo family North Carolina Zootastic park

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced many us to get creative with family outings. We might even try something new since our options are so limited. One family got more than they bargained for when they did just that. A viral video of the family going through a drive-thru zoo in North Carolina is straight up hilarious!

You never know what will happen when you encounter animals, but Chasity Sowell clearly did not see this coming. She rode shotgun while her mom drove.

However, the group was not prepared for the friendly cattle who pushed their heads into the car in search of food. They were absolutely terrified.

North Carolina Family’s Drive-Thru Zoo Video Goes Viral

This video is pure comedic gold.

It’s funny to think a family, even city folks, could be so scared of cattle.

I am not sure what they were expecting when they decided to go to Zootastic Park! But their wild adventure has now delighted the masses.

Somehow Chasity managed to keep her composure enough to record this hilarious video that has been viewed over 750,000 times on her Facebook page alone.

Fortunately for us, this family can laugh at themselves!

Drive-Thru Zoo Video Goes Off The Rails – “Shoo!”

Chasity’s nephew was holding vomit in his mouth while she was drooling and crying.

Her mom provided comedic relief to their hysteria by constantly yelling “Shoo!” and pushing a child out of the way.

In order to avoid an animal at her window, Grandma leaned into the child who was trying not to get sick.

This prompted him to lose his lunch on aunt Chasity. Grandma did not want those animals sticking their heads into her car!

When sharing the video, Chasity wrote

I can’t take them nowhere ?????? must watch I promise it will brighten up your day ???❤️❤️ hashtag I highly recommend Zootastic Park ???Dee Friday please get you grandson he made me start gagging ???

You’d think it was Jurassic Park by their over-the-top reactions!

Animals Can Be Fun

Wow! That is like something out of a Saturday Night Live skit.

As you can imagine that’s not your typical reaction. They all probably needed a shower after that experience.

Drive thru zoos allow families to encounter wildlife from the comfort (and safety) of their own vehicles. Typically, the animals are welcome to stick their heads through the vehicles to get some food.

These zoos allow families to have a unique experience that isn’t quite as dramatic as Chasity Sowell’s.

A typical low key visit can be seen in the video below.
