The UFC continued its second run on Fight Island with UFC Fight Island 4, also known as UFC on ESPN 16.
Set up on the incredibly beautiful Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, former UFC champion Holly Holm and Irene Aldana squared off in the main event.
Holm showed her experience and big-fight prowess, dominating Aldana and sweeping all five rounds on all three scorecards for the decision win.
In the heavyweight co-main event, Carlos Felipe did enough to earn the victory on the scorecards over Yorgan de Castro.
Felipe was the more active fighter throughout and was rewarded for his effort.
Following two rounds where she showed her skills, former UFC champion Germaine de Randamie finished off Julianna Pena in the third.
De Randamie secured a guillotine choke along the fence and choked Pena out. The 36-year-old improved to 10-4 with the win and 5-1 in her last six.
Kyler Phillips earned himself a big-time win on the island. Phillips stopped Cameron Else in the second round with a series of strikes.
Dusko Todorovic kicked off the ESPN main card with a second round TKO of Dequan Townsend. The win kept Todorovic unbeaten and became his first official Octagon win after scoring a decision on Dana White’s Contender Series.
In the prelim main event, former interim UFC champion Carlos Condit claimed a decision over Court McGee. The win was the first for Condit since 2015, snapping a five-fight losing skid.
Charles Jourdain and Josh Culibao battled to a split draw in featherweight action.
Nassaourdine Imavov, Loma Lookboonmee and Casey Kenney all scored decisions. Kenney earned a 30-25 on one scorecard over Heili Alateng in bantamweight action.
Luigi Vendramini kicked the night off in impressive fashion, landing a head kick and finishing Jessin Ayari.
