Pregnant Sadie Robertson Lands In Hospital With COVID-19

Pregnant Christian reality star Sadie Robertson revealed on Instagram that she suffered severe symptoms while battling COVID-19. In fact, the daughter of Willie and Kori Robertson’s symptoms were so severe that she ended up in the hospital while battling the virus.

While the “Duck Dynasty” star hasn’t revealed her due date, it is expected that her baby with husband Christian Huff will be born in the Spring of 2021. The cute couple made the pregnancy announcement earlier this month.

Getting ill can be a critical concern in the first trimester of pregnancy and, unfortunately, Sadie had a rough fight with COVID.

But, the 23-year-old is crediting Jesus for her recovery.

She informed fans of this health crisis on Instagram. Along with a picture of herself in a hospital bed with an IV, Sadie Robertson alerted her followers to the fact that she was sick.

Her mom and sister Bella also contracted coronavirus.

Sadie, Korie, and Bella Robertson will discuss their personal experiences with COVID-19 one of their upcoming “Live Original” podcasts.

“I’m not going to lie, this has been one of the most challenging things. I got Covid-19 and ended up getting very sick,” Sadie began. “I know everyone experiences covid differently, but wow these symptoms are wild. I’ve definitely struggled through this one!”

Sadie Robertson’s Pregnancy Is Thriving

Fortunately, Sadie’s baby is thriving and doesn’t appear to have ill effects from the virus. She is crediting God for her recovery, which is almost complete. 

“I will say my dependency on Jesus has never felt greater in some of the hardest moment of this sickness. I’m thankful I serve a savior who is with me in these moments that feel rather lonely,” she continues. “My heart and my families heart goes out to everyone suffering with Covid.”

life update: I’m not going to lie, this has been one of the most challenging things. I got Covid-19 and ended up getting very sick. I know everyone experiences covid differently, but wow these symptoms are wild. I’ve definitely struggled through this one! Thankfully baby Huff is doing great and healthy, and I am now healing as well. I’m no longer in the hospital (this pic was not from today) and i have just about fully recovered. I’ve learned a lot and I have been challenged in a lot of new ways. I will say my dependency on Jesus has never felt greater in some of the hardest moment of this sickness. I’m thankful I serve a savior who is with me in these moments that feel rather lonely. My heart and my families heart goes out to everyone suffering with Covid.
