Phil Collins Requires Wheelchair And Cane At Genesis Rehearsals In Heartbreaking Images

Amidst his battle with ex-wife Orianne Cevey, Phil Collins looked frail while preparing for his upcoming Genesis reunion tour.

A frail looking Phil Collins arrived recently to a rehearsal for Genesis’ upcoming reunion tour. The famed drummer and singer needed a wheelchair and a cane for mobility issues. This is another sad twist after news of his disturbing legal battle with ex-wife Orianne Cevey.

Collins’ marital issues might actually dwarf his health problems. His third ex-wife, Orianne Cevey, with whom he had reunited in 2016, sent him a text message in August saying that she had married someone else in Las Vegas.

Forty-six-year-old Cevey robbed the cradle by scoring a husband 15 years younger than her.

She and her new husband promptly took up residence in Collins’ $36 million Miami beachfront mansion. Cevey has hired armed guards to keep Collins out of his own home.

Phil Collins’ Lawsuit Against Ex-Wife Orianne Cevey

The ‘Against All Odds’ singer has a lawsuit pending to regain access of his home and all his memorabilia from his former live-in ex-wife.

The former couple share 15- and 19-year-old sons who are obviously entangled in this drama that is like something straight out of a soap opera.

So, the 69-year-old Collins is facing strain from his family crisis, an upcoming tour, and medical issues.

The severity of the situation was evident when he showed up for rehearsals for Genesis’s first tour in 14 years. Collins is physically unable to play drums so his son Nic will be taking over that role.

After seeing pictures of Collins arriving for rehearsal, it’s a wonder he is able to tour at all.

The once dominant presence on the stage, Collins has issues with standing and moving to sitting on his own.

Tours are emotionally and physically draining for performers. Beginning the tour from this state would prove challenging to most performers.

The Daily Mail captured pictures of Collins’s mobility struggles.

Phil Collins’ Medical Problems

Phil Collins’ legal team is working on getting his ex-wife and her new husband out of his house and his positions returned.

Cevey has cycled through different attorneys which has dragged out the case.

The musician is accusing her of taking over the house and demanding an excessive amount of money to leave. He believes if she does not get her way that she will defame him.

She is claiming she cannot leave Collins’ mansion because she has a debilitating neurological condition that requires her to use the home’s pool and exercise equipment.

Meanwhile, Phil Collins is physically struggling to get around.

Collins had surgery on his neck in 2009 to try to repair nerve damage and spinal issues due to years of poor posture when playing the drums.

He had another operation on his back in 2015. Unfortunately, he fell while he recovering on crutches, fracturing his foot.

Then he later fell again and fractured another part of the same foot, causing nerve damage that led to him having to use a cane.
