On Monday night, Kirstie Alley went on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show to talk about how she deals with the below-the-belt attacks that she’s received from liberals who can’t stand to see someone supporting President Donald Trump.
Yesterday, we reported that former “Cheers” actress faced an onslaught of hate from elite Hollywood liberals triggered by her Twitter endorsement of Trump over the weekend.
Kirstie Alley didn’t back down then, and now she’s doubled down in a Fox News interview with Sean Hannity.
“They always attack me on the same three things: I’m a fat, irrelevant, Scientologist,” Alley, 69, told the Fox News host.
Though many would be hurt by these insults, Alley said she can take them in stride after decades of experience with this.
“But, this has been going on for 40 years, so I’m sort of prepared,” she continued. “That really is basically all they have to offer, so I honestly don’t take it too personally because I feel that people are angry and they have the right to say what they wnt to say, and I have the right to block them if I don’t like the way they speak.”
The liberal elites of Hollywood lost their minds when Alley took to Twitter on Saturday night to say that she’s voting for Trump because “he gets things done quickly and he will turn the economy around quickly.”

The anger that Alley was hit with from the left for her pro-Trump tweet mostly surprised her because the “Look Who’s Talking” star has never tried to hide her support of Trump.
So it should not have been shocking for anyone – let alone the Hollywood elites who lashed out – that Kirstie Alley plans to vote for Trump.
“It’s funny because I have been talking about Trump now for several months, and the other night I put out a tweet that simply said that I voted for him the first time [in 2016] and [will vote for him] this time because he’s not a politician,” Alley said.
“And I got this flood, I mean, thousands and thousands [of responses] going, ‘Do you know the definition of politician? Do you know what a politician is?’ … and I do, and I know they know what I meant, and what I meant is that he is not a career politician,” she continued.

Not stopping there, Alley went on to explain that “we have a history in this country of people … of different occupations like farmers and tailors and oilmen and businessmen and generals coming in and servicing our country as the president of the United States, and … many of them when they left, they went back to their other job.”
In the end, Alley said that hateful liberals will never convince her to turn on Trump.
Why? Because she believes Trump “has more energy than any human being I’ve actually ever seen and I think the big thing that I was mentioning in that tweet was that I’m really tired of career politicians.”
It’s ironic that liberals claim to be such devoted “feminists,” yet there’s nothing they hate more than a conservative woman who can think for herself.
