UFC contender Jorge Masvidal continues to voice his support for President Donald Trump.
Masvidal was involved in a series of rallies in Florida that included Trump’s son as they continued the drive for re-election.
On social media recently, Masvidal revealed more of his reasoning behind supporting Trump in his bid against Joe Biden to remain the President of the United States of America.
“The Democrats just think that they’re entitled to the Latino vote,” Masvidal said (thanks to FOX News for the quotes). “They think that we just have to hand it over to them.
“That’s right. We sure as hell don’t.”
Masvidal and other UFC fighters were on the “Fighters Against Socialism” tour that also included Donald Trump Jr. and United States Senator Marco Rubio from Florida. The group made stops in Tampa, Orlando, Coconut Creek and Miami.
During the tour, Masvidal said “They gotta show us what they can do for us – what they can do for our communities.
“We’re not gonna buy the same ‘woof tickets’ and false promises that destroyed great countries like Venezuela and Cuba,” he added. “It’s not gonna happen.”
Masvidal continued his tirade against Biden, a former United States Vice President who served under Barack Obama.
“You know what else is not gonna work for them?” Masvidal asked the crowd. “Playing ‘Despacito’ on your cellphone to pander to us. Hell no.
“You gotta give us some credit for having heads on our shoulders.”
After defeating Nate Diaz, Masvidal was unsuccessful in his attempt to become UFC welterweight champion, falling to Kamaru Usman.
Masvidal continued to voice his displeasure over Biden, citing him as “been in the business for 47 years at every level and never won a (expletive) game.”
“We either re-elect President Trump and keep America great,” Masvidal said, “or we let Joe Biden destroy the greatest country the world has ever seen.”
