The Girl Scouts succumbed to partisan internet bullies who didn’t approve of them celebrating the accomplishments of a conservative woman when they deleted a tweet congratulating Amy Coney Barrett on being the fifth female to become a Supreme Court Justice.
Girl Scouts of the USA’s tweet wasn’t up for long before social justice warriors took aim.
The tweet that outraged leftist activists showed Barrett along with Sandra Day O’Connor, Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the four women SCOTUS Justices who came before her.
“Congratulations Amy Coney Barrett on becoming the 5th woman appointed to the Supreme Court since its inception in 1789,” the organization tweeted about 1 pm on Wednesday.

Barrett should be an example that women do not have to sacrifice family for a professional career.
The mother of seven has successfully juggled everything. This should be a tremendous message for young girls.
But, Barrett is guilty of being conservative and for this the leftist trolls came after her.
They only want young American girls to applaud liberal women.
Rather than being strong women who stand up to bullies, the Girl Scouts deleted the post from all of its social media accounts.
This just created more of a problem for the youth organization as they got attention for discriminating against conservative women.
Taking a knee to the outrage brigade is a poor example to the girls they serve.
Conservative and independent minded people and groups took notice and replied.

The Girl Scouts attempted to do damage control by tweeting they removed the post because it was interpreted as being political.
They followed that up by tweeting that they are not a red or blue organization but rather a green one.
The 100+ year-old organization claims it exists to lift up girls.
But, apparently the only girls and women that are entitled to be lifted up are liberals.
This could leave them at odds with conservative parents who might chose to skip Girl Scouts altogether for their daughters.
The organization just proved that it will not stand up for all women.
