UFC President Dana White and President Donald Trump continue to work together in many different ways.
The latest includes taking over YouTube’s masthead on Thursday. Trump will have his final debate with challenger Joe Biden as the two prepare for election day coming up in November.
In an ad that will include White and UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal, the long-time Trump supporter says “The upcoming election is a fight for the future of our country.
“President Trump has built the greatest economy in American history and since COVID hit, he saved our economy from total collapse and is rebuilding it all over again,” White added.
Masvidal has been with the Trump team in recent weeks, helping with a campaign in Florida alongside Donald Trump Jr. and other MMA fighters.
“You know what else is not going to work for (Latinos) – playing ‘Despacito’ on your cell phone to pander to us,” Masvidal remarks in the advertisement. “Hell no! You got to give us some credit for having heads on our shoulders.”
Masivdal was making reference to a campaign rally in Florida when Biden played the song for the crowd. His father escaped Cuba under Fidel Castro’s regime to the United States.
The Trump campaign has purchased YouTube’s masthead for several of the upcoming days leading into the in-person voting.
Trump and Biden meet in the final debate Thursday night at 9 p.m. ET at Belmont University in Nashville.
