LeBron James Reacts After Learning Lori Loughlin Will Serve Her Sentence At Cushy Prison

NBA legend LeBron James expressed outrage when he learned that former “Fuller House” actress Lori Loughlin has been approved to serve out her two month prison sentence at a cushy California prison that offers yoga and Pilates classes.

For a long time, Loughlin professed she was not guilty in the college admissions scandal involving her daughters, but finally agreed to plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud.

In an Instagram post that has since been deleted, James posted a link to a Vanity Fair story called “Lori Loughlin will get to serve her two-month sentence at the prison of her choice.”

James wrote:

“Of her what. I’m laughing cause sometimes you have to just to stop from crying! Don’t make no damn sense to me.”

“We just want the same treatment if committed of same crime that’s all. Is that asking for [too] much,” the basketball star added. “Let me guess, it is huh. Yeah I know!! We’ll just keep pushing forward and not expecting the handouts! STRONG, BLACK & POWERFUL!”

James’ post quickly went viral, with many social media users agreeing with him.

“Whaaaaatttt???!!! Uhh….is it punishment if you get to choose,” Oscar-winning actress Viola Davis wrote in the comments section. “Is she going to choose her meal program, too??!!”

Loughlin’s Cushy Prison

Loughlin was sentenced to two months in prison last month after finally pleading guilty to charges.

The charges related to her paying $500,000 in bribe money to have her two daughters admitted to the University of Southern California as members of the crew team. However, neither girl had ever rowed before.

Last week, a judge approved Loughlin’s request to serve out her sentence at the “Satellite Camp” of the Federal Correctional Institution in Victorville.

The facility’s inmate handbook states that it offers a wide variety of recreational activities that make it sound more like a spa retreat than a prison. These offerings include yoga, Pilates, painting, calligraphy, crochet, origami, ceramics, cartoon drawing, and music lessons.

Should Loughlin be considering a career change, which is a real possibility given the fact that more acting roles won’t be coming her way anytime soon, she could use her time in prison to receive vocational training available in bicycle repair, forklift operations, dental assistant training, and waste management.

Loughlin has been ordered to surrender to prison on November 19. Her husband Mossimo Giannulli will begin his five-month sentence the same day for his role in the college admissions case in a low-security federal prison in Santa Barbara County.

Our Tax Dollars Are Being Used To Fund This Cushy Prison

While it’s certainly frustrating to see Loughlin get to serve her sentence at such a cushy facility, it’s even worse to learn that our tax dollars are being used to fund yoga classes for prison inmates.

Not only should Loughlin not be serving her sentence there, the prison itself should not exist at all.
