Fellow Anthem-Kneeler Eric Reid Calls NFL ‘Diabolical’ For Using Kaepernick In New Promo

Despite the NFL’s exhaustive efforts to appease the radical left with a massive social justice campaign, there seems to be no pleasing Colin Kaepernick or his NFL anthem protest protégé Eric Reid. The NFL free agent just jumped on his predecessor’s bandwagon yet again to blast the NFL for using a video of Kaepernick kneeling in its campaign.

Eric Reid Calls Out NFL For Kaepernick Video

Reid took to Twitter to call the NFL’s social justice campaign “half-hearted” before really going for the jugular.

The former San Francisco 49ers safety sees Roger Goodell and the NFL using imagery of Kaepernick kneeling as a PR Stunt. And calls the move, while Kaepernick remains unsigned, downright “diabolical”.

“What the @NFL is doing is half-hearted at best,” Reid tweeted. “@nflcommish has gotten comfortable saying he “was wrong” as if his mere acknowledgement reconciles his admitted wrongdoing. He hasn’t even called Colin to apologize, let alone reconcile, proving this is only PR for the current business climate.”

“As such, Roger Goodell uses video of Colin courageously kneeling to legitimize their disingenuous PR while simultaneously perpetuating systemic oppression, that the video he’s using fights against, by continuing to rob Colin of his career,” Reid added. “It’s diabolical.”

Colin Kaepernick Slams NFL’s Social Justice Effort As Well 

Eric Reid was the first player to take a knee alongside Colin Kaepernick, ostensibly to protest against racial justice in the United States, while both played for the San Francisco 49ers back in 2016.

Reid’s tweets blasting the league came one day after Kaepernick also slammed the NFL’s social justice effort on Twitter.

“While the NFL runs propaganda about how they care about Black Life, they are still actively blackballing Eric Reid for fighting for the Black community,” tweeted Kaepernick. “Eric set 2 franchise records last year, and is one of the best defensive players in the league.”

Kaepernick appeared to be implying that Reid is only a free agent right now because NFL teams have blacklisted him for kneeling during the national anthem.

This is a narrative that Kaepernick loves to push, as he frequently tries to make it look like he has not been signed by another NFL team since leaving the 49ers after the 2016 season because of his social justice efforts.

In reality, he led the 49ers to an abysmal losing record during his final season with the team, so it’s his lack of football talent that is likely why Kaepernick has not been signed again since then. 

Social Justice Warriors Will Never Be Satisfied 

This shows once again that radically leftwing social justice warriors like Colin Kaepernick and Eric Reid will never be satisfied.

The NFL has catered to them at every turn. The league now allows players to disrespect our flag by kneeling during the national anthem. And they even painted social justice messages like “End Racism” in the end zones on the field.

Yet this is not enough for radical liberals. They always want more.

As they say – if you give a leftist an inch, they’ll take everything you have. So maybe the NFL is better off not giving them anything at all.
