As we count the days down to the third meeting between UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic and former titleholder Daniel Cormier, let us flash back to the first time they met.
Miocic was riding high, coming off a handful of successful title defenses. Cormier, meanwhile, was the reigning light heavyweight champion.

The first fight between Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier went down at UFC 226 in July of 2018 and saw Cormier secure the heavyweight title and become a two-division champion.
Their rubber match trilogy fight takes place on Saturday, August 15.
On this day five years ago, Ronda Rousey defeated Bethe Correia via first round knockout at UFC 190 in front of a Rio de Janeiro crowd for her sixth bantamweight title defense.
