In the co-main event, Jennifer Maia submitted Joanne Calderwood to potentially secure her spot as the No. 1 contender.
Calderwood was to face Valentina Shevchenko for the title earlier this year, but the UFC champion was forced out with an injury. Instead of waiting Calderwood took the fight with Maia and was upset.
