The UFC returned to the UFC Apex in Las Vegas for UFC Fight Night: Lewis Vs. Oleinik. The event also goes by the title UFC Vegas 6 or UFC Fight Night 174.

Confused yet? Yeah, me too.

After surviving several submission attempts, Derrick Lewis came out firing in the second round, flooring Aleksei Oleinik and earning a finish.

Lewis stormed out of his corner and connected with a flying knee to the chest, following it up with a right. From there, he was all over Oleinik, forcing the referee to step in.

With the performance, Lewis now owns the most knockouts in UFC history in the heavyweight division.

Nevertheless, live-action went down and winners were crowned.

A crazy stat thanks to Mike Bohn, this was the 20th UFC bout since 2014 for Lewis. For a heavyweight, that is a heck of a lot of action.

In the co-main event, former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman picked Omari Akhmedov apart over three rounds and 15 minutes, nearly earning the finish but settling for a one-sided decision.

Weidman earned his first win since a 2017 victory over Kelvin Gastelum, snapping a two-bout losing skid.

Darren Stewart submitted Maki Pitolo in the opening round, securing a guillotine choke for the win.

Yana Kunitskaya remained near the top of the contender list in the bantamweight division, controlling Julija Stoliarenko and earning a decision.

Beneil Dariush opened the main card with a knockout victory over Scott Holtzman. Dariush caught Holtzman with a spinning back-elbow, finishing him with just over 30 seconds left in the opening round.

The finish by Dariush had Paul Felder almost jumping out of his seat.

Tim Means finished off the seven-fight prelims with a convincing decision over Laureano Staropoli. Means swept the scorecards in the bout and also picked up some additional money after Staropoli missed weight.

Kevin Holland earned a thunderous finish of Joaquin Buckley, stopping him in the third round of their middleweight contest.

Andrew Sanchez had a highlight-reel finish, knocking out Wellington Turman in the opening round with less than a minute to go.

Gavin Tucker earned a submission while Nasrat Haqparast, Youssef Zalal and Irwin Rivera picked up decision.
