James Woods Michelle Obama Harvey Weinstein video

Hollywood star James Woods just took at shot at Michelle Obama by tweeting out a 2013 video in which the former First Lady praised disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein. The very same man who is now serving a 23-year prison sentence for rape and sexual assault.

James Woods Trolls Michelle Obama

Woods tweeted out the throwback video after Michelle endorsed Joe Biden while speaking at the virtual Democratic National Convention on Monday night.

“Beautiful endorsement tonight,” Woods captioned the video. “She’s a great judge of character, so please be kind. No trolling. Oh, wait…”

No doubt Woods’ tweet raised some eyebrows. That is, until they watched the video.

Michelle Obama Praises Harvey Weinstein In Video Tweeted By James Woods

In the tweeted video, Michelle actually describes Weinstein as a “wonderful human being”.

“He is a wonderful human being, a good friend, and just a powerhouse,” she said.

That says everything about Michelle’s ability to be a good judge of character.

As we all know, Weinstein spent decades sexually assaulting women in the entertainment industry. The movie mogul’s crimes were even something of an open secret in Hollywood.

It wasn’t until 2017 when he was finally brought down by dozens of accusers who launched the #MeToo movement.

As his accusers came forth, Weinstein was finally hit with charges that resulted in his decades-long prison sentence.

The Obamas Let Their Daughter Intern For Weinstein

During his time as a Hollywood power player, however, Weinstein was also a top Democratic donor who donated lots of money to people like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

In fact, the Obamas were so close to Weinstein that they allowed their own daughter Malia to intern at the film producer’s office months. This was just before his allegations came to light.

Daily Mail reported that the Obamas only tried to distance themselves from Weinstein after he was fired from the film company he helped to create.

“Michelle and I have been disgusted by the recent reports about Harvey Weinstein,” Obama said in the statement released two days after the sexual predator was fired from The Weinstein Company.

“Any man who demeans and degrades women in such fashion needs to be condemned and held accountable, regardless of wealth or status,” Barack Obama also said at the time. “We should celebrate the courage of women who have come forward to tell these painful stories.”

“And we all need to build a culture – including by empowering our girls and teaching our boys decency and respect – so we can make such behavior less prevalent in the future,” he added.

Good For James Woods

Imagine if there was video footage of a conservative like Donald Trump praising Harvey Weinstein? It would be all over the internet.

Since it was Michelle who made these comments, however, virtually nobody has spoken about it in years.

We applaud James Woods for reminding America just what a bad judge of character Michelle Obama really is.
