Invicta FC, the all-female MMA promotion, returned Thursday night live on UFC Fight Pass.
Invicta FC 40 featured Emily Ducote scoring a decision victory over Juliana Lima from Kansas City.
Ducote, a 26-year-old, improved to 9-6 with the win. She is now 3-1 over her last four fights including a 2019 knockout of Janaisa Morandin.

For Lima, the loss was her third consecutive setback – with the previous two coming in the UFC. She is 9-6 overall, as well.
Alesha Zappitella topped Lindsey VanZandt via split decision in the co-main event with Chelsea Chandler picking up a submission victory over Liv Parker.

Trisha Cicero bested Laura Gallardo and Genia Goodin kicked off the night with a win over Shelby Koren.
