AJ Styles Paul Heyman

AJ Styles is denying reports that he was upset at Paul Heyman and went as far to call him a liar. Also, another Evolution pay per view could be taking place next month.

AJ Styles Calls Paul Heyman A Liar

The past few months have seen WWE undergo major changes. Due to COVID-19, 40% of employees were let go and Paul Heyman was removed as Executive Director of RAW.

During all this, AJ Styles was traded to SmackDown for Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode. Although, the move was done to please Styles.

As noted, Styles was upset at Heyman for not fighting to keep Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows from being fired. In the end, Vince McMahon had the final decision.

Styles tried to clarify those rumors on his podcast. But, he did make a point to call Heyman a “bold faced liar.”

Styles’ Side Of The Story

“There are some rumors going around that AJ Styles left RAW to go to SmackDown because he was being bullied. That may be the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.”

“I mean, I’m a grown man. If there was some bullying going on that was enough for me to leave RAW and go to SmackDown I would have handled it.”

“Whether I got my tail beat or not I would still handle it. I’m a grown man. So, I’ll just throw that out there.”

“When it comes to the rumor about Paul Heyman and me being upset about Gallows and Anderson for the their releases to get stopped, that’s not what it was at all. Not even close. I’ll give you a snippet of what me, Gallows, and Anderson already know — he’s a liar.”

“Now you know. I’m sure you’ve heard that before if you go back to the ECW days you’ll hear that. He’s a bold faced liar. That’s my take on that.”

Styles continued how Anderson and Gallows would provide more details in the future. At some point, they will appear on Styles’ podcast to give their side of the story.

With Heyman having no say on RAW, he remains an on-air talent. Whenever Brock Lesnar returns, expect to see Heyman by his side.

As for Styles, he already captured the Intercontinental Championship since joining SmackDown. He looks to be working a potential feud with Matt Riddle this summer.

Talk Of Another Evolution PPV

Talk Of Another Evolution PPV

WWE made history in 2018 with Evolution, their first all female pay per view. Since then, the company is yet to follow-up with another installment.

There have been several rumors of producing another version, but nothing materialized. Now, Pro Wrestling Unlimited mentioned how that could be changing.

WWE is looking to host some type of special event on August 30. The top two choices are another Evolution or breaking SummerSlam up into two weeks.

While the report does not mention the Hall of Fame, that could be another direction. The 2020 class was postponed months ago due to COVID-19.

To go with the Evolution story, some think WWE might try to bring in Tessa Blanchard for the card. She was let go by Impact Wrestling after the two sides could not come to an agreement.
